Commissioning (Cx) is the process of guiding the building owner for the most efficient system and validating the installation is in compliance with the required project specifications which is prepared base on international codes and also Owner’s requirements . It is also a systematic process that facilitates and ensures the required communication, coordination, testing and verification, and results in the delivery of a building whose HVAC systems perform as intended. Effective HVAC commissioning is a cooperative and proactive process. It starts with design review and continues with functional performance tests, operator/end user O&M training sessions and complete documentation of whole HVAC system. In substance, the main purpose of commissioning activities is to make sure that the turned over facility will be operated and maintained as it is intended.
